After spending hours trying to put this together. I spent the entire party trying to show it. And now it has taken me over a month to find a way to post this...
Enjoy.......
Follow up to first attempt of this post: the video posted but is very poor quality. I am also attaching a link that will take you directly to the video with good quality. After this I am retiring.

Back in the Summer of...'11
Our apologies for completely alienating our blog followers with a lack of posts. Can I offer some excuses...

2.) 20 mins of putting ridiculous diapers on and another 20 mins of rubbing on 200 spf sunscreen (which is the consistency of syrup) all while tending to the destruction of an excited 9 year old boy... All for the sake of the pool.
3.) One week of enjoying God's beautiful creation in Captiva, although I am still confused in the role that mosquito's play...

4.) Summer Camp, aka full time baby sitters!

5.) After spending countless hours pondering.... we still don't have a clue what is posing with Louis in this picture.

Alright - no excuses. We have been lazy.

Hopefully we can work if off and win you back.
1.) Lauren and Daniel came to visit and it took us an entire week just to get all of the kids on one couch together. Notice parental hands offering "support"...

It's a boy!
It's official. Louis Lemar Catoe joins us weighing 60 lbs 8 ounces and 53
inches long!
When asked if he wanted to be a part of our family he shrugged his shoulders
and said, "I don't know".
A special thank you for all your thoughts and prayers throughout this
process. Darla and I could not be doing this without the encouragement, support
and love we receive from all of you.

We feel a little better about Louis' answer after seeing this!

Happy (belated) Mother's Day!
I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday! This is a sweet little story of a conversation between God and an unborn baby that I thought I would share.

Happy 1st Birthday Kinsley Jane!
Update: some more birthday pictures...
We had a small family party to celebrate Kinsley's first birthday today. It's hard to believe she is already one year old! Here are just a couple of the birthday girl. More to come, soon...
not too sure about all this...
Kinsley wanted nothing to do with cake so we let her try a cupcake...
"It's my party, I can cry if I want to!"
(she was actually playing peek-a-boo!)

Spring Break
Last week was Louis' spring break so we took our very first family vacation! We went to Vero Beach for the week, were able to go see uncle Chris and aunt Corrie and even go to a baseball game! At the end of the week, my parents, Abbie and Adelyn came over so we got to hang out with them some, too.
Go Marlins!!!
This is one of the first of many tea partys Louis will be having in the coming years. Believe it or not, he actually enjoyed it. :)
